Explanation
Real future possibilities
The first conditional talks about possible future situations and their likely results.
If + present simple, will + verb If it rains, we'll stay at home. I'll help you if you need me.
Never use will in the if-clause: If you come (not if you will come). The same rule applies after when, as soon as, before, after: I'll text you when I get home.
unless = if not: You'll be late unless you leave now.
Use if when you are not sure something will happen; use when when you are sure.
The result clause can also use can, might or an imperative: If you see Ali, tell him to call me.

Hissələrin yerini dəyişmək olar. if əvvəldə olarsa, iki hissənin arasına vergül qoyulur; sonda olarsa, vergül adətən olmur:
- If I see him, I'll tell him.
- I'll tell him if I see him.
Ən çox edilən səhv
Azərbaycan dilində şərt hissəsində gələcək mənası şəkilçi ilə verilir: Sabah gəlsən... Bəzən tələbələr bunu ingiliscəyə will ilə köçürürlər. Amma if hissəsində will işlənmir:
- ✗ If you will come tomorrow, we will cook dolma.
- ✓ If you come tomorrow, we 'll cook dolma.
Eyni qayda when, as soon as, before, after sözlərindən sonra da keçərlidir: I'll call you when I arrive.
unless
unless = if ... not («...məsə, əgər ...mazsa»):
- You'll miss the bus unless you hurry. = If you don't hurry, you'll miss the bus.
unless-dən sonra inkar işlətməyin: ✗ unless you don't hurry.
if yoxsa when?
- if – olub-olmayacağı dəqiq deyil: If I find a job, I'll buy a car.
- when – mütləq olacaq: When I finish school, I'll go to university.
Digər nəticə formaları
Nəticə hissəsində can, may, might və ya əmr forması da ola bilər: If you're tired, go to bed. If it's sunny, we might go to the beach.

when-dən sonra da will işlənmir.
You won't lose weight unless you eat less sugar.

Common mistakes
If it will rain, we will stay home.
If it rains, we will stay home.
if hissəsində gələcək mənası olsa da, Present Simple işlənir.
I will call you when I will arrive.
I will call you when I arrive.
when, as soon as, before kimi zaman bağlayıcılarından sonra da will işlənmir.
Unless you don't study, you will fail.
Unless you study, you will fail.
unless artıq «əgər ...mazsa» mənasını verir, ikinci inkar lazım deyil.
If he come, I will be happy.
If he comes, I will be happy.
he/she/it ilə Present Simple-də -s şəkilçisini unutmayın.
