Supporting opinions: O-R-E
Opinion + Reason (because ...) + Example (For example ...). Avoid one-word answers.
Agreeing and disagreeing
- Agree: Absolutely. I couldn't agree more.
- Partly agree: That's true to some extent, but ...
- Disagree politely: I see your point, but ... I'm not so sure about that.
Keeping the conversation going
What do you think? How do you feel about ...? Why do you think so?
Say I agree (not I am agree) and I don't think so (not I think no).

Fikir bildirmək
Danışıqda yazıdan fərqli olaraq daha sadə, qeyri-rəsmi ifadələr işlənir:
- I think / I reckon / I feel that ...
- If you ask me, ... / The way I see it, ...
- Personally, I'd say ...
- Güclü fikir: I'm absolutely sure that ... / I really believe ...
- Zəif fikir: I'm not sure, but I think ... / It seems to me that ...
Fikri əsaslandırmaq: O-R-E
Yaxşı cavab üçün sadə formul: Opinion → Reason → Example.
- I think public transport should be free (O), because it would reduce traffic (R). For example, in some European cities, free buses have made the roads less busy (E).
Tək cümləlik cavablar (Yes, I agree.) danışıq imtahanlarında zəif sayılır. Həmişə because ilə davam edin.
Razılaşmaq və razılaşmamaq
| Dərəcə | İfadələr |
|---|---|
| Tam razı | Absolutely. / I couldn't agree more. / That's exactly what I think. |
| Qismən | I suppose so, but ... / That's true to some extent. / Yes, but on the other hand ... |
| Razı deyil | I'm not so sure about that. / I see your point, but ... / I don't really agree. |
Fikir soruşmaq və söhbəti davam etdirmək
- What do you think? / How do you feel about ...? / Do you agree?
- What about you? / That's interesting. Why do you think so?
Vaxt qazanmaq
Cavabı fikirləşmək üçün: That's a good question. / Let me think ... / Well, it depends.
Azərbaycanlılar üçün qeydlər
- I am agree / I am not agree, səhvdir: I agree / I don't agree.
- I think so (məncə, elədir) və I don't think so (məncə, yox), I think no deyilmir.
- Azərbaycan dilindəki düz deyirsən üçün You're right və ya That's true deyin.
- İntonasiya: razılaşmamada səsin tonu yumşaq olsun, əks halda kobud səslənə bilər.
Examples
If you ask me, people spend too much time on their phones.
Məndən soruşsan, insanlar telefonlarında çox vaxt keçirirlər.
I couldn't agree more. It's a real problem.
Tamamilə razıyam. Bu, həqiqətən problemdir.
That's true to some extent, but phones are also useful for learning.
Bu, müəyyən dərəcədə doğrudur, amma telefonlar öyrənmək üçün də faydalıdır.
I see your point, but I don't think a ban would work.
Fikrini başa düşürəm, amma qadağanın işə yarayacağını düşünmürəm.
The way I see it, the government should invest more in public transport because it helps everyone.
Mənim baxışıma görə, hökumət ictimai nəqliyyata daha çox sərmayə qoymalıdır, çünki bu, hamıya kömək edir.
That's a good question. Let me think ... Well, it depends on the situation.
Yaxşı sualdır. Qoy fikirləşim... Yaxşı, bu, vəziyyətdən asılıdır.
How do you feel about working from home?
Evdən işləmək barədə nə düşünürsən?
Common mistakes

I agree with you.
agree feldir, be lazım deyil.

A: Will it rain? B: I don't think so.
Qısa cavabda I think so / I don't think so işlənir.
A: Do you like the idea? B: Yes.
A: Do you like the idea? B: Yes, I do, because it would save a lot of time.
Fikri səbəb və nümunə ilə əsaslandırın; tək sözlü cavab zəif səslənir.

I'm not so sure about that.
Birbaşa razılaşmama kobud səslənə bilər; yumşaldıcı ifadələr işlədin.
