Job interviews
Common questions: Tell me about yourself. Why do you want this job? What are your strengths and weaknesses? Tell me about a time when... Where do you see yourself in five years?
Tell me about yourself: present → past → future, professional information only.
STAR method for examples: Situation, Task, Action, Result. Say I, not we, for your actions, and give a measurable result.
Weaknesses: choose a real but small one and say how you are improving.
Future: I'd like to have gained experience in... / I hope to be leading a team.
Always prepare two or three questions for the interviewer.

STAR metodu
Tell me about a time... suallarına belə cavab verin:
- Situation, vəziyyət: In my second year, our team project was two weeks behind schedule.
- Task, vəzifəniz: I was responsible for the database.
- Action, nə etdiniz (** I**, we yox!): I organised daily 15-minute meetings and divided the tasks.
- Result, nəticə, mümkünsə rəqəmlə: We finished on time and got the highest grade.
Hadisələr üçün **past simple **, fon üçün past continuous, nəticə üçün which meant that... işlədin.
Güclü və zəif tərəflər
- Güclü: sifət + sübut: I'm very organised, for example, I...
- Zəif: real, amma kritik olmayan zəiflik + nə edirsiniz: I used to find public speaking difficult, so I joined a debate club, and now I feel much more confident.
