Explanation
Advanced articles
- General meaning: no article with plural and uncountable nouns: Dogs are loyal. Life is short. Specific: the life of my grandfather.
- Institutions (school, hospital, prison, university): no article for their main purpose (He's in hospital); the for the building (I visited him at the hospital).
- **Geography **: the with oceans, seas, rivers, mountain ranges, deserts and plural/union names (the Caspian Sea, the Caucasus, the USA). No article with continents, most countries, cities, single mountains and lakes.
- Unique things and superlatives: the sun, the best.
- Jobs: She's an engineer. Fixed phrases: by car, at night, twice a week.

- I love music. Amma konkret olanda *the : *** The music at the party was too loud.
Azərbaycanlılar çox vaxt The life is beautiful deyir. Ümumi mənada Life is beautiful.
2. İnstitutlar: school, hospital, prison, university, church
- Əsas məqsədlə gedəndə artikl yoxdur: He's in hospital. (xəstədir) She goes to university. (tələbədir)
- Bina kimi gedəndə the: I went to the hospital to visit my aunt. Qeyd: Amerika ingiliscəsində in the hospital deyilir.
